Dr. Kavita Shah Arora, one of only 14 Ob-Gyns nationwide, is a key member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) delegation to the American Medical Association\u2019s (AMA) House of Delegates. Dr. Arora\u2019s participation in the recent AMA Interim Meeting on November 15th underscores ACOG\u2019s ongoing efforts to advance priorities in women\u2019s health care, such as improving access to maternal health services and addressing policy issues impacting both patients and providers.<\/p>\n

ACOG, alongside other medical organizations, played a key role at the AMA Interim Meeting in shaping policies affecting obstetric and gynecologic care. Delegates shared powerful testimonies, highlighting the impact of Medicare payment cuts and the challenges facing patients and physicians surrounding public health<\/span>. ACOG\u2019s presence, strengthened by many obstetrician-gynecologists in the AMA House of Delegates, led to the adoption of new AMA policies aimed at addressing these issues.<\/p>\n
