\"\"UNC Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is proud to share that Ob\/Gyn fellow, Dr. LeAnn Louis, has been selected for the 2026\u20132027 Betsey, Lucy, and Anarcha Editorial Mentorship Program<\/em> through Obstetrics & Gynecology, the official journal of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG).<\/p>\n

Launched in 2024, the Betsey, Lucy, and Anarcha Editorial Mentorship Program is designed to advance equity in academic publishing and ensure that historical injustices are not perpetuated through research, training, or clinical practice. This year\u2011long program includes virtual seminars, mentored peer reviews, editorial conference calls, and opportunities for participants to connect and network with peers, mentors, and journal editors.<\/p>\n

Dr. Louis expressed both gratitude and enthusiasm for the opportunity, sharing:<\/p>\n

\u201cI am so honored to have been selected for the ACOG Obstetrics & Gynecology Editorial Mentorship Program. I\u2019m especially excited for the upcoming workshop in Washington, DC and the opportunity to learn from experienced editors, gain deeper insight into the peer-review and editorial process, and connect with leaders in our field.
