I feel such a privilege to provide this care to people. How truly amazing it is to be a part of the happiest day of someone&#8217;s life, to comfort them on a day filled with grief or the anxiety of the unknown, or to simply share a simple Tuesday afternoon check up with them. I think this is simply the best job.<\/p>\n<h3>Why UNC?<\/h3>\n<p>UNC has been a distant thought in my mind since my undergraduate days. That distant thought became more and more of a pull and a need to make this idea a reality during my interview process for residency. I left the resident social wishing that I could be hanging out with these people in real life, and my interview day with faculty that shared laughs, stories, and their honest selves let me know I would grow into the kind of physician and the kind of person I want to be during my time here.
