Ob\/Gyn is also special because we have the opportunity to guide our incredible patient population through important life events with medical and interpersonal skills.<\/p>\n<h3>Why UNC?<\/h3>\n<p>I am thrilled by the prospect of training at UNC in partnership with peers and educators who are dedicated to comprehensive, evidence-based care that centers health equity. During my interview day and in conversation with residents, I was impressed that the warmth, camaraderie, and support of the department was equally as strong as the thoughtful, rigorous approach to education and advocacy. I also wanted to train somewhere that would set me up to be a strong generalist.
