OBGYN lends itself well to social medicine and it\u2019s focus on women\u2019s health and showing up for patients\u2019 needs very much spoke to me. I was also an individual who loved both medicine and surgery and so I knew I wanted a specialty at the intersection of both!<\/p>\n<h3>Why UNC?<\/h3>\n<p>I loved the environment here during my interview day! It really felt like my passions for OBGYN aligned strongly with this program &amp; that they would make me into the time of OBGYN that I wanted to be.
