The patients&#8217; vulnerability, the emotional intensity of the work, the combination of medicine and surgery and the opportunities for advocacy solidified that choice for me.<\/p>\n<h3>Why UNC?<\/h3>\n<p>The training is excellent, but most importantly, this program&#8217;s family feel was palpable during my interview.
