Partnerships with the OGE

The Office of Graduate Education is excited to partner with companies in and beyond the RTP area of North Carolina.  Donations are welcome. All donations to the Graduate Training Excellence Fund are used to support the mission of the Office of Graduate Education [link to mission statement], including professional development activities for life science PhD trainees such as the ImPACT program and other career development programs that our office provides for graduate students.

The donation can be made via mailed check with “Graduate Excellence Fund” in the memo line, by company credit card at https://give.unc.edu/donate?f=345950,  or by electronic transfer.  Please reach out to Patrick Brandt, PhD (PDBrandt@email.unc.edu), Director of Career Development and Outreach for electronic transfer instructions.

Additional Opportunities

Companies can access UNC PhD level talent by hosting a site visit at their research facility or workplace. On-campus information sessions or panel discussions are also popular among trainees exploring career paths. These sessions give a company the ability to share general information about the industry and specifics about their organization and current openings.
