Naps won a poster award at a national conference based on his 2009 summer research.  In the summer of 2010 he did summer research at the University of Delaware focusing on prostate cancer.  He will graduate in  December 2010 and will be busy applying to Ph.D programs this fall for the 2011-2012 academic year.

Arlene is a senior at UPR and was accepted as an Endocrine Society Scholar.  As such she will pursue her interests in type I diabetes research this summer at a lab in the Baylor College of Medicine's SMART program.
