Embedded Counselor<\/strong><\/h6>\n

Zoe Silverman is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) and a therapist within the embedded counseling program at UNC\u2019s Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS). In this role, she works exclusively with BBSP students to support them with their mental health.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Zoe received her Master of Social Work from the University of Michigan and her BA from the George Washington University. Zoe has experience supporting clients who are struggling with anxiety, depression, adjustment, relationships, and other concerns. She strives to create a warm and affirming environment and uses interventions including CBT, ACT, mindfulness, and self-compassion. She is respectful of each client\u2019s unique cultural background and embraces the exploration of intersectional identities as an essential part of her practice.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
