  • UNC Institute for Global Health and Infectious Diseases – IDGHID leads and supports the UNC community to improve global health through research, teaching, and service programs.
  • UNC Center for Global Initiatives – This is a center housed under UNC Global committed to funding and collaborative activities to expand access and opportunities for global opportunities.
  • This Week in Global Health – This weekly newsletter is published by Research, Innovation and Global Solutions at UNC Gillings School of Public Health. The newsletter provides listings of global health jobs, funding and internship opportunities, global health and international-themed events on campus, locally, and globally.
  • UNC Global Health Post –  Newsletter for the UNC Institute of Global Health and Infectious Disease. This newsletter includes more clinically oriented global health research and opportunities.
  • The Water Institute at UNC – Housed within School of Public Health, the Water Institute is focused on sustainable management of water, health, and development and using science to inform good practices and appropriate policy.
  • Carolina Global Breastfeeding Institute – Established in 2006 in the Department of Maternal and Child Health at the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health, CGBI works to increase understanding of and support for breastfeeding, the oldest, most natural, healthiest means of nourishing infants and young children.

  • Duke Global Health Institute – University-wide institute to coordinate, support, and implement Duke’s interdisciplinary research, education, and service activities related to global health. DGHI coordinates events, research and undergraduate and graduate programs and classes.

  • Triangle Global Health Consortium – Consortium of partners from academic, business and nonprofit organizations in the Triangle area committed to global health. The Consortium hosts monthly lectures and an annual conference.

  • Intrahealth International – Dedicated to working with developing countries to improve their public health capabilities by training and supporting their health workers.
  • FHI 360 – Serving more than 70 countries and all U.S. states, the organization has managed projects related to family planning and reproductive health.
  • Research Triangle Institute, International – Independent research institute dedicated to improving the human condition.
  • IPAS – Works to increase women’s ability to exercise their sexual and reproductive rights, and to end deaths and injuries from unsafe abortion.
  • CureAmericas Global – Partner with communities abroad to save the lives of mothers and children by providing health services and education.
  • Family Health Ministries – Support Haitian communities in their efforts to build and sustain healthy families by developing best health care practices to share across Haiti and other low-resource communities.
