Visiting Student Cultural Exchange

Visiting international medical students from all over the world come to UNC each month to complete clinical electives. These students are in the final year of their medical education and participate in the same electives as MS4s. We would like the international students to have an opportunity to meet UNC students and vice versa. At the beginning of each elective period, we will send an email to the UNC medical students who have filled out the form below and indicated that they might be available for the current elective block. If you decide to participate and reply quickly to the email, we will pair you with an international student, give you their contact information, and expect you to meet with the student a minimum of two times during the month for coffee, lunch at the Beach, or whatever is convenient for you. Most months we host 5-10 international students, so you will not be paired every elective period.
