Student Research Day is a yearly event held by the John B. Graham (JBG) Student Research Society to showcase the amazing original research of UNC SOM students. The event is a wonderful way to show off your research while gaining valuable experience with poster or oral presentations in front of judges. Additionally, it is an opportunity to learn about the work of fellow UNC SOM students, and potentially identify future research projects to pursue during your summer between MS1 and MS2 (and perhaps beyond). Lastly, participation in SRD allows you to apply for future travel awards through JBG to help offset the cost of presenting your research at conferences
Student Research Day for the 2021-2022 academic year will be held on November 12, 2021! The event will be virtual due to gathering restrictions and to increase accessibility. Keynote speaker: Dr. Emery Brown. Please see the Student Research Day page for more information.
