The goal of my research career is to improve the quality of care and outcomes of patients with cancer by developing interventions to better align care delivery with what matters most to patients. I believe it is a fundamental obligation\u2014a first principle of caring for patients\u2014to make treatment decisions that aim to achieve the outcomes that patients most value.
