Both awards recognize the outstanding accomplishments of the recipients and bestow a monetary award that the awardees can use at their discretion to further their research programs.<\/p>\n<p>The 2025-26 recipients of the Jefferson-Pilot Fellowships in Academic Medicine are\u00a0<strong>Bianca Allison, MD, MPH, <\/strong>Associate Professor, Department of Pediatrics, and\u00a0<strong>J. Justin Milner, PhD,\u00a0<\/strong>Assistant Professor, Department of Microbiology &amp; Immunology.<\/p>\n<p>The winners of the James W. Woods Junior Faculty Award are\u00a0<strong>Matthew Vogt, MD, PhD,\u00a0<\/strong>Assistant Professor, Department of Pediatrics and Microbiology &amp; Immunology, and\u00a0<strong>Leon Coleman, MD, PhD,\u00a0<\/strong>Assistant Professor, Department of Pharmacology.
