To achieve these goals, TraCS offers a number of programs and services to assist researchers.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/tracs.unc.edu\/index.php\/services-by-category\/prop-dev-funding-ts\">Proposal Development \/ Funding \/ Team Science<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/tracs.unc.edu\/index.php\/services\/education\">Training &amp; Career Development<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/tracs.unc.edu\/index.php\/services-by-category\/analytics-design-data\">Research Analytics \/ Design \/ Data Management<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/tracs.unc.edu\/index.php\/services\/biostatistics\">Biostatistics<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>Funding Database<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The UNC Office of Research Development provides subscription access to <a href=\"http:\/\/spin.infoedglobal.com\/\">InfoEd Global\u2019s SPIN database<\/a>. The database contains a comprehensive selection of over 40,000 federal, public, and private funding opportunities. All current UNC faculty, staff, students, and postdoctoral scholars are eligible for SPIN user profiles.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/research.unc.edu\/research-development\/finding-funding\/spin-plus-funding-database\/\">Sign up here: SPIN Funding Database<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>Find a Collaborator<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The OoR developed the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/oor\/faculty-database\/\">Faculty Collaboration Database<\/a> to facilitate connections within our faculty community, enabling us to leverage complementary expertise and resources and expand our research network.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>What&#8217;s Going on in Research<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h4><a href=\"https:\/\/news.unchealthcare.org\/vital-signs\/\"><em>Vital Signs<\/em><\/a><\/h4>\n<p>The School of Medicine issues a weekly email newsletter, <a class=\"external-link\" title=\"Vital Signs\" href=\"https:\/\/news.unchealthcare.org\/vital-signs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Vital Signs,<\/a> that covers ongoing research projects, new awards and appointments, and events. UNC personnel can <a class=\"external-link\" title=\"log in to Vital Signs\" href=\"https:\/\/news.unchealthcare.org\/submit-news\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">submit<\/a> news articles and event information to Vital Signs.
