Every spring, outpatient clinic team members are celebrated across UNC Health during Outpatient Teammate Appreciation Week. In mid-May, UNC Ophthalmology clinical teammates enjoyed comradery at UNC Kittner Eye Center with activities organized by the clinic, as well as events hosted by UNC Health:
Monday, May 12th: Carolina Blue Day – Wear your Tar Heel colors!
Tuesday, May 13th: “Game Day” – Bring board games from home to play during downtime with teammates.
Wednesday, May 14th: Secret Teammate Appreciation Card Day
Thursday, May 15th: Ice Cream for Teammates Day
Friday, May 16th: “Self Care Day” – Recognizing self-reflection, meditation and mental wellness as essential to working at one’s best as a member of “One Great Team.”
