Why UNC Ophthalmology?
During my interviews, it became abundantly clear through my conversations with the residents and faculty that UNC offers the perfect balance of resident camaraderie and exceptional surgical and clinical training. The supportive culture, which is clearly fostered by the attendings and carried through the resident class, creates an environment where I can truly see myself learning, growing, and becoming the best physician I can be. Having one of the largest wet labs in the country is an incredible added benefit, and, of course, it doesn’t hurt that Chapel Hill has so much to do!
