UNC Eye hosts a series of Visiting Professorships throughout the academic year to enhance residency education and offer members of the local ophthalmology and health care community opportunities for continuing education. Kittner Ophthalmologists invite nationally recognized physicians to spend a Friday afternoon lecturing and leading discussions on unusual cases presented by Kittner Eye residents.
On Saturday morning we host a Grand Rounds style forum featuring a lecture, presentation and discussion led by our Visiting Professor. We welcome all regional health care providers and scientists. The program runs from 8:30am to 10:30am with a light breakfast served at 8am.
The program is free and open to the public. The School of Medicine of The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill designates this live activity for a maximum of two (2) AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
