We value the original research of our faculty, residents and others contributing to department research and support opportunities for our scholars to present and publish in reputable forums. We especially encourage interdepartmental research projects that advance the relevance of vision research within the cross-disciplinary investigative community of the University of North Carolina.<\/p>\n<p>Our departmental research facilities consist of state-of-the-art laboratories located in UNC&#8217;s Neuroscience Research Building. We share space with the Departments of Neuroscience, Neurology, and Genetics in a unique, collaborative, and stimulating atmosphere.
