Each year, the ocular care community encourages all individuals to start young in adopting healthy lifelong practices to reduce one&#8217;s odds of developing eye disease that can lead to worsening or complete loss of vision.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.aao.org\/eye-health\">American Association of Ophthalmology (AAO)<\/a> has designated September as Healthy Aging Month and emphasizes good eye health as an essential part of healthy living.
