Research Opportunity
We are always looking for enthusiastic undergraduate students, graduate students, and postdoctoral researchers to join our lab. Our research focuses on understanding the aging effects of non-coding RNAs and proteomic profiles in musculoskeletal diseases, with the goal of uncovering mechanisms to enhance endogenous tissue repair.
Our projects involve a range of translational and basic science techniques, including:
- Human joint specimen collection and processing from orthopedic surgeries.
- Tissue sectioning and staining to evaluate histological and structural changes.
- Single-cell isolations to study cellular heterogeneity within musculoskeletal tissues.
- Nucleic acid and protein extractions for transcriptomic, proteomic, and molecular analyses.
- Data processing and analysis using advanced statistical and bioinformatics approaches.
We aim to provide hands-on training and mentorship tailored to each lab member’s career stage and interests. Lab members are encouraged to present their work at conferences, develop independent research ideas, and contribute to publications.
If you’re interested in becoming part of our team, please contact Dr. Hsueh for more information.
