Our research focuses on understanding the aging effects of non-coding RNAs and proteomic profiles in musculoskeletal diseases, with the goal of uncovering mechanisms to enhance endogenous tissue repair.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Our projects involve a range of translational and basic science techniques, including:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Human joint specimen collection and processing<\/b>\u00a0from orthopedic surgeries.<\/li>\n<li><b>Tissue sectioning and staining<\/b>\u00a0to evaluate histological and structural changes.<\/li>\n<li><b>Single-cell isolations<\/b>\u00a0to study cellular heterogeneity within musculoskeletal tissues.<\/li>\n<li><b>Nucleic acid and protein extractions<\/b>\u00a0for transcriptomic, proteomic, and molecular analyses.<\/li>\n<li><b>Data processing and analysis<\/b>\u00a0using advanced statistical and bioinformatics approaches.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We aim to provide hands-on training and mentorship tailored to each lab member&#8217;s career stage and interests.
