UNC Orthopaedics\u2019 Sports Medicine and Shoulder divisions provide a unique blend of experience and innovation to its patients. As the primary orthopaedic providers for the UNC Tar Heel athletes, we are intimately familiar with the injuries and solutions that are common among all levels of athletic abilities, professionals to weekend warriors. Sports orthopaedics encompasses injuries and conditions outside of the \u201csports\u201d arena. Most muscle or activity-related injuries and conditions are treated by our Sports and Shoulder Orthopaedists. Offering unique and minimally invasive treatments like cartilage restoration and debridements are only a few reasons why the UNC Orthopaedics\u2019 Sports and Shoulder physicians are in a league of their own.<\/span><\/p>\n
