Sophie is an MD-PhD student studying the tumor microenvironment of HIV-associated Diffuse Large B Cell Lymphoma under the mentorship of Dr. Yuri Fedoriw. She received her undergraduate degrees in Biomedical Science and French at The Ohio State University. Her long-term goal is to become a physician-scientist specializing in pediatric hematology/oncology. In addition to her work in the lab, Sophie is involved in mentoring students through Medical Mentors and Advocates for Inclusion in Medicine and Science. She enjoys exploring the hiking trails and restaurants in the area.
