Breanna Jeffcoat is from Washington D.C and graduated with a B.S in biological sciences from North Carolina Central University. After graduating she completed a NIH funded Post baccalaureate Research Education program (PREP) at Virginia Commonwealth University. Breanna is currently in the lab of Dr. Andrew Gladden and Dr. Russell Broaddus where she is studying Molecular contributions to disparities in Endometrial Cancer patients. Outside of Lab Breanna enjoys mentoring young women pursuing degrees in STEM, spending time with family, reading, and listening to music.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
