Jenny Coelho is a PhD student studying the tumor microenvironment and immune response in HIV-associated Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma under the mentorship of Dr. Yuri Fedoriw. A Georgia native, she graduated summa cum laude from Berry College with a B.S in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. She came to UNC due to its friendly atmosphere and collaborative environment, as well as the opportunities to be involved in clinical\/translational research and global health. Her current research interests involve T-cell dysfunction in the context of chronic disease and clinical research to improve care and minimize costs in low- and middle-income countries.
