Pria Bose is a PhD student in the lab of Dr. Jason Mock. Her doctoral work focuses on regulatory T cell mechanisms in clearing pro-inflammatory immune cells during the resolution of lung injury and infection. Pria grew up in California and became interested in science after a summer doing crappy research at a sewage treatment plant. She received her B.S. in Cellular and Molecular Biology from San Diego State University, where she studied common water pollutants on development and the pathology of vaping associated lung injury. When it’s sunny, Pria loves hiking, paddleboarding, swimming, and spending time outdoors when she’s not in the lab. However, during the winter she avoids outside at all costs and prefers to read, cook, and catch up on TV shows indoors.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
