Originally from California, she graduated from UC Berkeley in 2020 with a B.S. in Environmental Sciences, researching metabolic dysregulation caused by traffic-related air pollution. After college, she worked as a post-baccalaureate fellow at the National Cancer Institute (NCI) before enrolling in UNC\u2019s MD\/PhD program to study molecular epidemiology and genomics methods for understanding disease progression.
