These positions are supported by a grant from the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences. NIH Institutional National Research Service Awards (NRSA) can only be given to US citizens or permanent residents. Payback provisions of the NRSA program apply to the traineeships.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Predoctoral Fellowships<\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Predoctoral candidates should apply to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/pathology\/mcp\/mcpgp\" target=\"_self\">Molecular and Cellular Pathology Graduate Program<\/a> of the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine through the University of North Carolina Graduate School&#8217;s <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Biological and Biomedical Sciences Program:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"font-style: italic;\">Biological &amp; Biomedical Sciences Program at the University of North Carolina<\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Biological and Biomedical Sciences Program (BBSP) is a unified mechanism by which prospective students apply for graduate study in the biological or biomedical sciences at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Students that are interested in any of the biological and biomedical sciences research areas (including pathobiology, mechansims of disease, and pathology) apply to the Biological and Biomedical Sciences Program and are admitted to UNC with no formal commitment to any specific Ph.D. program.
