Postdoctoral (Ph.D.) trainees already trained in the basics of laboratory science will work in an apprentice relationship with a senior scientist on an appropriate research topic. Postdoctoral trainees who have received a clinical doctorate (M.D., D.V.M.), may choose similar apprenticeship training or may pursue a program of study and research leading to the Ph.D. degree in experimental pathology.<\/p>\n<p>These positions are supported by a grant from the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences. NIH Institutional National Research Service Awards (NRSA) can only be given to US citizens or permanent residents.
