To arrange a research fellowship, trainees should identify a research laboratory of interest and contact the <a class=\"internal-link\" title=\"\" href=\"\/pathology\/mcp\/pbts\/faculty\" target=\"_self\">principal investigator<\/a> directly to discuss fellowship opportunities.<\/p>\n<p>Certain <a class=\"external-link\" title=\"\" href=\"http:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/pathology\/residency\/fellowships\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">clinical laboratory fellowships<\/a> are available to trainees with a Ph.D. in pathology or another appropriate discipline who are interested in translational science and a career in a diagnostic laboratory.
