These subspecialty fellowships are open to UNC pathology residents who have completed their general residency training program and desire a post-residency fellowship experience. Individuals having completed residency training at other institutions are also encouraged to apply for these fellowships. The Clinical Chemistry, Clinical Immunology, Clinical Microbiology, and Laboratory Genetics &amp; Genomics fellowships are also open to individuals with a PhD or equivalent doctoral degree in an area related to the fellowship. The Head and Neck Surgical Pathology fellowship is also open to oral and maxillofacial pathologists with a DDS or DMD degree.
