He joined the department in 2018 and is currently an Associate Professor. Dr. Evans began her journey withthe DPLM in 2017 as a resident and has served as a Clinical Assistant Professor since 2022. Her leadership and clinical expertise are instrumental to the success of the Hillsborough site.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-2627 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/pathology\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/646\/2018\/04\/KeeneStaci204.jpg\" alt=\"Staci Keene, MD\" width=\"75\" height=\"93\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/pathology\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/646\/2018\/04\/KeeneStaci204.jpg 164w, https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/pathology\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/646\/2018\/04\/KeeneStaci204-150x187.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 75px) 100vw, 75px\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>Dr. Staci Keene<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> serves as the Medical Director at the UNC Health Chatham Hospital Laboratory. Like Dr. Evans, Dr. Keenejoined the department as a resident in 2017 and became an Assistant Professor in 2022. Her dedication to patient care and laboratory quality continues to enhance services at Chatham.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">We also extend our sincere gratitude to <\/span><b>Dr. Herb Whinna<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> for his years of dedicated service and instrumental oversight of pathology services at these locations.
