PRESENTER: Blair Wendlandt, MD, MSCR

TITLE: “Post-traumatic Stress Disorder in ICU Family Caregivers.”

BIO: Dr. Wendlandt’s research interests focus on the long-term outcomes of critically ill patients and their family caregivers. Specifically, she is interested in the emotional distress experienced by family caregivers during and after a loved one’s ICU admission, and in the development of strategies to help reduce family distress. Clinically, she attends in the MICU at UNC Chapel Hill, and provides pulmonary and critical care consultation at the UNC Hospitals Hillsborough Campus.
