“Opioid Use Disorder in Serious Illness”
BIO:
Dr. Liz Figgatt is a current fellow in UNC’s Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship. She attended medical school at UNC, followed by Internal Medicine residency and a Chief residency year at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. Prior to entering medicine, Liz served in the Navy as a Surface Warfare Officer. After work and on the weekends, Liz can be found hanging out with her husband and 2 young children. Following completion of fellowship, she will be working with the Durham VA Palliative Care team.
