Presenter: Fran Schindler, RN, BSN
Title: “Existential Angst and The Practicalities of ‘Getting Dead’”
Bio: Fran has thirty + years of experience in Nursing. Including United States Air Force Nurse Corps, George AFB California and Eglin AFB Florida, in patient adult and out-patient clinic Nursing. Also experience in Pediatric Clinic Triage and Diabetes Education. Major area of Nursing Practice: Psychiatry to include substance abuse detox and treatment as well as in patient- eating disorders treatment. Retired in 1999 after working on the Psychotic Disorders Unit at UNC Hospital Chapel Hill, NC.
Previous member of the Hemlock Society and Compassion and Choices.
