Title:  “The Art of the Condolence Note”

Bio:  In this workshop we will discuss the history of condolence notes and their value for both the recipient and the writer–and how a note from a medical professional can be particularly meaningful and healing. I will demonstrate what makes a note successful and show examples of do’s and don’ts. Participants will each practice writing a note and leave knowing how to tackle this difficult task. I have offered this workshop at medical centers all over the country.
