Application Phase

The Pediatrics Rotation is administered at three clinical sites: UNC Hospitals (Chapel Hill, NC), WakeMed Hospitals (Raleigh, NC), Moses Cone Hospital (Greensboro, NC).   A variety of pediatric problems will be encountered in these settings. In addition, there will be opportunities to explore those aspects of preventive medicine and psycho-social-environmental factors that relate directly to infants, children, adolescents, and their families.

The final assessment for the Pediatric Block consists of a Pediatric Departmental Examination and the NBME Pediatric Examination (Shelf exam).
