Payton Bryant joined the Pediatric Division of Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine in 2026. She graduated from East Carolina University’s Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) Program in May and completed clinical rotations at UNC, where she developed an appreciation for the culture, teamwork, and commitment to exceptional patient care. Payton brings eight years of NICU nursing experience from ECU Health and UNC Rex and is passionate about quality improvement, evidence-based practice, and lifelong learning.
