Summary:

Stephanie Brennan is a pediatrician and child and adolescent psychiatrist who serves as faculty in the Departments of Psychiatry and Pediatrics. She is passionate about supporting healthy development throughout the lifespan through prevention and early identification of emotional and behavioral concerns.  She works in multiple capacities to increase access to mental health care through collaboration with primary care and virtual care. Her clinical interests include mental health care in the primary care setting and working with LGBTQ+ individuals. She also has a strong interest in resident education. As a Jeffrey Houpt Scholar, she will work on increasing collaboration between the Psychiatry and Pediatrics departments and strengthening the mental health training of UNC’s pediatric residents.
