Research
Dr. Jackson’s research interests include clinical trials operations, clinical pharmacology, and epigenetic analyses. His goal is to combine these interests to improve the outcomes of infants through drug development for diseases with limited therapies, including bronchopulmonary dysplasia and hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy. His work on dose optimization for novel neuroprotective drugs to treat hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy is funded through a K23 award from the NIH.
