She is from Pennsylvania and joins us from Louisville! She chose UNC for residency training because of all of the clinical, global health, research, and innovation opportunities the UNC Med-Peds program provides. She really enjoyed her interview day and felt UNC Med-Peds would support her in her career aspirations and provide her with wonderful overall training for the next four years.
Fun facts: In her free time, Samantha enjoys reading(all genres from New York Times bestsellers to no-fiction bio-tech profiles), running outdoors, cooking and trying new foods, going to the symphony and ballet(annual Nutcracker enthusiast), spoiling her pets (cat-Baloo and dog(Kodie), and traveling. She particularly loves the Outer Banks and is very excited to be within driving distance from the ocean again
