After working in Teach for America, Patrick then enrolled in medical school at UNC where he has been involved with a variety of leadership, research and volunteer experiences including most notably serving as the Co-President of the Whitehead Medical Society and the Co-Founder of MedServe, a non-profit corporation that places recent pre-med graduates into underserved areas within primary care practices. A member of AOA and the Gold Humanism Honor Society, he is simultaneously graduating with a business degree from Duke while finishing his work at UNC.
