Alex is a former soccer state champ who also played competitive table tennis. He enjoys fermenting things and most outdoor activities. He has done work with physician and RN wellbeing. Ask him about that old Ford Econoline that was transformed into a van called Shelia. Alex joins us from UCF and couples matched with Haley in Medicine!<\/p>\n

Having gone to UNC for undergrad, he already knew Chapel Hill was the greatest place on earth! Then having been lucky enough to do an away at UNC I was blown away by the kindness and compassion everyone showed to both the patients and their colleagues. He and his partner were ecstatic to return to Chapel Hill to cheer on our Tar Heels!<\/p>\n

Fun facts: <\/em><\/strong>He loves to play soccer and spend time outdoors running, kayaking, or rollerblading. He also enjoys making his own hot sauce and brewing beer.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
