These programs are designed to prepare physicians for careers in academic medicine, focused on that subspecialty of care. In addition, two and three year fellowships are also available in <a title=\"\" href=\"http:\/\/www.shepscenter.unc.edu\/fellowships\/nrsa-primary-care-research-fellowship\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">primary care research<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Click on the subspecialty for more information about the program.
