{"id":26621,"date":"2023-05-02T16:01:37","date_gmt":"2023-05-02T20:01:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/pediatrics\/education\/?page_id=26621"},"modified":"2026-04-10T10:53:45","modified_gmt":"2026-04-10T14:53:45","slug":"apply","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/pediatrics\/education\/fellowships\/pediatric-hospital-medicine-fellowship\/apply\/","title":{"rendered":"Apply"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>Timeline<\/h3>\n<p>The timeline for application into the Pediatric Hospital Medicine fellowship at UNC Children\u2019s Hospital is as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Applications follow <a href=\"https:\/\/students-residents.aamc.org\/eras-tools-and-worksheets-fellowship-applicants\/2025-eras-fellowship-application-timeline\">ERAS timeline<\/a>\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>We will begin reviewing applications on July 15th, 2026 and plan to send interview invites the second week of August with interviews occurring from early September through late October.<\/li>\n<li>We will be participating in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nrmp.org\/match-calendars\/\">NRMP<\/a> match with dates consistent with the pediatric specialty fellowship match<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Application Requirements<\/h3>\n<p>Please be sure to include your CV with your ERAS application. Letters of recommendation are required including one from your residency program director. Graduation from an ACGME pediatrics (or medicine-pediatrics) program is required. Applicants must be board-eligible\/certified in General Pediatrics through the American Board of Pediatrics.
