Welcome to the UNC Food Allergy Initiative<\/strong> website! Our Initiative is dedicated to furthering food allergy research.<\/h2>\n

Did you know that 1 in 13 children in the US have a food allergy? And that around 40% of children with food allergies are allergic to more than one food? We provide comprehensive, family-centered patient care for food allergy, food-related anaphylaxis, and other related disorders like atopic dermatitis and eosinophilic esophagitis.<\/p>\n

Whether you are a potential patient, research collaborator, or just learning more about food allergy, we invite you to explore our website and join in our effort to make a difference in the lives of all those living with food allergy.<\/p>\n
