He received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 2011 at Vanderbilt University, a Master\u2019s in medical sciences at University of South Florida in 2012, and earned is medical degree in 2018 at the University of Central Florida. Dr. Atkins completed his pediatric residency at UNC-Chapel Hill in 2022, remaining for a year as Chief Resident. He completed his fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology at Duke University Children\u2019s Hospital in June 2025.
