Members are selected after careful peer review. Reviewers congratulated Dr. McNeal-Trice on the depth and breadth of her educational experiences, expertise, and contributions to the field.<\/p>\n<p>NADEP, part of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.academicpeds.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Academic Pediatric Association (APA)<\/a>, is an academy of medical educators that advances pediatric educators, educational scholarship, and pediatric educational programs for learners across the continuum of medical education. An honorary service academy, NADEP envisions an expansive, diverse, and inclusive community of pediatric educators who collaborate to enhance pediatric education&#8217;s role in improving health.<br \/>\nNADEP&#8217;s work is guided by a commitment to foster:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Equity, diversity and inclusion<\/li>\n<li>Collaboration and engagement<\/li>\n<li>High-value pediatric education (high quality, learner-centered, cost-effective)<\/li>\n<li>Educational scholarship and innovation<\/li>\n<li>Vitality, resilience and the professional identity of pediatric educators<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The purpose of NADEP is to recognize elite medical educators, foster exchange and dissemination of innovative ideas, and to accelerate the development of junior and mid-career educators.
