This initiative is an academic and community health system partnership to improve the health and well-being of the population in southeastern NC.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Ross is an Associate Professor in the Department of Urology and serves as the Division Chief of Pediatric Urology. She also serves as the Medical Director of the Children\u2019s Multispecialty Clinic at the main hospital in Chapel Hill. Dr. Ross grew up and worked in NC before becoming a physician. She later attended medical school at UNC and did a general surgery internship and urology residency at George Washington University before completing a pediatric urology fellowship at Children\u2019s National Medical Center in Washington, DC. As a faculty member, she has helped to ensure clinical outreach within her specialty and specifically focused on serving eastern NC.<\/p>\n<p>In her new role, Dr. Ross will join the team that facilitates the execution of the affiliation agreement between UNC and Novant Health.
